Brent Hahn Speaks on 3D Micro Printing

Brent Hahn, VP Business Development, gave a Medtech Theater presentation at MD&M West (IME West) entitled “A Comparison for Micro Applications: 3D Printed Parts, Parts Molded from 3D Printed Mold Inserts, and Parts Molded from Traditional Steel Molds”. Design News caught up with Brent and learned more about his presentation.

“Not only can Isometric provide 3D printed parts, we can also very quickly 3D print micro mold inserts where we can mold parts in the intended thermoplastic, even high temperature thermoplastics all the way down to 25 microns or 0.001” thick. This opens up possibilities with R&D projects, providing samples faster and in the intended thermoplastic.”
