Isometric and Nissha Executives Featured in MDO Article

The pending acquisition of Isometric by Nissha Medical Technologies was discussed in a recent article by Jim Hammerand in Medical Design & Outsourcing (MDO). Jim interviewed Nissha Medical Technologies Chief Integration Officer and Chief Supply Chain Officer Jon Casey, and EVP Brandon Hoffman as well as Isometric’s CEO Donna Bibber, and VP of Business Development and Strategy Brent Hahn.

The article discusses the advantages of the acquisition for both companies. Isometric will provide vertically integrated micro molded, miniaturized component capabilities for Nissha Medical Technologies including their recent acquisition of EndoTheia, an enabling technology for steerable devices, whether it be interventional devices, robotics platforms or surgical navigation and visualization.

The acquisition will also allow Isometric to grow in ways that help not only their customers, but ultimately patients by enabling medical OEM and drug delivery companies to think outside the box and innovate. Nissha’s engineering design capabilities and global outreach will give Isometric additional capabilities to take on even more challenging projects in miniaturization.
